Maerim Elephant Sanctuary – Chiang Mai

Spend time with rescued elephants in a kind and natural way.

No riding, no shows — just feeding, walking, mud spa, and bathing with them in the river.

Half-day or full-day trips available.

Activity Introduction

• Half Day (Morning): 07:30–13:30 (including pick-up and drop-off)  Activity time: 08:30–12:00
• Half Day (Afternoon): 14:00–19:00 (including pick-up and drop-off)  Activity time: 15:00–18:00
• Full Day: 09:30–18:30 (including pick-up and drop-off)  Activity time: 10:30–16:30
• Half day elephant + Half day sticky waterfall: 07:30–16:30 (including pick-up and drop-off)  Activity time: 07:30–16:00
• Includes:Hotel transfer (Chiang Mai city), meal, insurance, English-speaking guide

HALF DAY VISIT

– Pick up at your hotel (Chiangmai city).

– Drive approximately 45 minutes from Chiang Mai city to Maerim elephant sanctuary.

– Arrive and change into traditional mahout clothing

– Greet the elephants with your own basket of bananas.

– Play with our elephant family as you learn about their behavior and past.

– Mud spa with the elephants

– Enjoy bathing with elephants.

– Relax in the sun by the swimming pool.

– Leave the sanctuary and drive back to your hotel.

– Drop off at your hotel.

Time Options:

• Morning Trip: Pick-up 07:00–07:30, return around 13:30
• Afternoon Trip: Pick-up 13:30–14:00, return around 19:00

FULL DAY VISIT

– 9.00-9.30 A.M. pick up at your hotel.

– Drive approximately 45 minutes from Chiang Mai city to Maerim elephant sanctuary.

– Arrive and change into traditional mahout clothing

– Greet the elephants with your own basket of bananas.

– Play with our elephant family as you learn about their behavior and past.

– Enjoy a mud spa and play with them in sand.

– Relax in the sun by the swimming pool.

– Learn how to make your own traditional noodle soup.

– Help us forage for elephant treats.

– Walk in the jungle with  our elephants along a stream surrounded by nature and local farms.

– Enjoy bathing with elephants adnd playing in th sand.

– Say goobye to our elephants and change clothes.

– 16.30 P.M. leave the sanctuary.

Half day elephant + Half day sticky waterfall

– Pick up at your hotel (Chiangmai city).

– Drive approximately 45 minutes from Chiang Mai city to Maerim elephant sanctuary.

– Arrive and change into traditional mahout clothing

– Greet the elephants with your own basket of bananas.

– Play with our elephant family as you learn about their behavior and past.

–  Mud spa with the elephants

– Enjoy bathing with elephants.

– Learn how to make your own traditional noodle soup.

– Relax in the sun by the swimming pool.

– Drive to water fall, 30 min

– Spentime in sticky waterfall 3-4 hour

– Enjoy a unique climbing and swiming adventure at waterfall

– Drive back to hotel

– Arrive at 17.30 pm.

Feed & Greet Elephant Experience (1 Hour)

• Time: 10:00–16:00
• Includes:Drinking water and elephant food
• Meeting Point: Please go directly to the sanctuary

Enjoy a close and meaningful encounter with elephants. Feed them bananas by hand, greet the gentle elephant family, and take memorable photos together.

Guests may arrive anytime between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM and spend approximately one hour with the elephants.
