1) How to make a reservation for a journey in Tao Tai Lang ?
A: No matter you need airport pick-up or private charter, only need to choose the number of people and service packages which you like the most. Then your order will be taken by us. Please check the notices before booking!
2) Will I share the ride with strangers?
A: All of our services are private. You can also customize your own itinerary. We will always coordinate with passengers!
3) How much does the midnight airport pick-up?
A: The price will remain the same for 24 hours. But we hope that passengers can encourage the drivers who work hard in the midnight by giving them some tips. Thank you.
4) How can I do if I let the driver work overtime?
A: We recommend that start your tour after 7 am if you book 10 hours driving.
Or you can notify us to make arrangement first if you need the driver working overtime or earlier. For overtime charge is 300 Thai baht per hour. And you can pay the money at the end of the day. (For example if overtime is 15mins, it still charge 300B.)
5) Can passengers discuss the itinerary with drivers after booking the car?
A: All the drivers are native Thai. They may not be good at English or Chinese. Please contact with our customer service first and confirm your itinerary. Then we will communicate your itinerary with the drivers. The driver will take you to the
destination as scheduled. Please notice that cannot be changed on that day.
6) How to deal with the languages obstacle with drivers?
A: We offer 24 hours online customer services, helping you to solve any problems you confront in your tour instantly.
7) Can you provide an infant seat for baby?
A: We offers infant seats for children whose age group between one month and four years old. Welcome to bring your dear babies to visit Thailand. The price for every
single trip is 300 Thai baht, passengers just need to remark the requirements of baby seats and the age of your children for us when booking the order. Just give the fee to the service driver at the end of the day.
8) Should I book car according to actual number of passengers?
A: Tao Tai Lang is authorized by Thai’s government. We are commit to traffic rules of Thailand absolutely. In order to ensure the safety and high quality during your tour, please book the car by giving your actual number of passengers and the baggage quantity, do not overload under any condition.
9) Should I give tips to driver?
A: You can also appreciate the driver with some tips! In general, 100 ~ 300 Thai baht to driver per car.
10) What are the costs that contained in my payment?
A: Tao Tai Lang has reasonable price. Just according to the itinerary. Except the tips for driver, all of the parking fee, fuel cost and tolls way are included.
11) How long driver will waiting me in Airport or Hotel?
For airport pick up – Free waiting 2hr maximum base on flight arrival. (Pls remark if you need to do arrival visa, the waiting hour extension to 3hr)
For Hotel pick up– Free waiting 20mins maximum in Hotel lobby base on indicated meeting time.
For overtime waiting, we charge 300THB per hour (for example if overtime is 15mins, it still charge 300B) , you may pay to driver directly.
12) Do passengers usually prepare tips for the service driver?
A: Tipping in Thailand is based on personal wishes, and there is no mandatory requirement. If you want to thank the driver good service, the general tipping quotation is about 100 to 300 baht per car, and passengers can decide on their own.
13) What is included in the charter fee paid by passengers?
A: Taotailang’s charter service charges are transparent and realistic. As long as you confirm the package itinerary quotation, except for the driver tip, the service quotation includes gas, parking, and tolls.
14) Does the Thai Traffic Regulation Bureau need to wear a seat belt in the back seat?
A: Thailand’s transportation regulations are strict. Passengers in the front and back rows are required to wear seat belts. If police find that passenger do not wear a seat belt, the fine is 500-5000 baht per person. Please be sure to follow the traffic rules.
15) Is insurance provided?
A: Each car has passenger car insurance (the person is in the car). If you need to purchase additional travel insurance (the person is outside the car), you can make an additional purchase, and we can serve you.
16) How long will the driver waiting in the airport for pick up?
A: For passengers picking up the plane, the driver’s waiting time is 2 hours after the arrival of the plane “on the same day”. If more than 2 hours, there will be an overtime fee of 300 baht per hour. Please be sure to notify the local customer service staff immediately to assist in contacting the driver. , If the customer service staff is not notified in advance after the time, the driver will leave the airport without refund. Passengers who need to apply for a visa on arrival on the same day, please make a note on the order, the waiting time will be extended to from 2 hours to 3 hours.
17) How long will the driver waiting in the hotel for pick up?
A: The waiting time for the driver from the hotel is 20 minutes. Please be sure to meet with the driver at this time. The driver will leave without refund if the time is exceeded.
18) How to meet the driver at the hotel departure?
A: The driver will be waiting for you with a sign in the lobby of your hotel. Some hotels do not provide parking or are unable to let the driver raise the sign in the lobby. The driver will inform you of the hotel counter staff to inform you. Please find it in the lobby at the appointed time Or contact your hotel counter staff. If you need assistance, you can call the local customer service number we provide to you.
19) What is the payment method?
A: Chartered products: provide remittance (Taiwan dollar or Thai baht account) / Master, Visa, JCB, UnionPay card / Alipay (RMB) / Thai baht cash, you can choose the most suitable payment method for you.
Ticket purchasing: full payment is required, remittance/swipe/Alipay is available, but Thai baht cash payment is not provided.
20) What is the Thai baht cash payment method for chartered products?
A: Choose Thai baht cash payment, please give the driver the day’s car fare at the end of each day, please be sure to prepare Thai baht, other currencies cannot be accepted.
Some chartered shuttle products choose Thai baht cash, there will be a need to provide a small deposit first, the deposit will be deducted on the day of the car payment, the customer service receives your order, if you need a deposit, you will be contacted first. 21) How to cancel the refund?
A: Please refer to the cancellation conditions of each product page, if it is within the conditions, cancellation & refund. If refund is possible, the refund mechanism is as follows:
Remittance: A refund can be made to the designated account within seven days, if it is Thai baht, it will be paid to a bank in Thailand, and Taiwan dollar is a bank in Taiwan.
